Memphis Artists

So, I was just thinking...where are the memphis artists? Is there a real art scene in Memphis? I'd love to find a place where artists just kind of hang out, and are just creative by being influenced by each other. Is there a group like that on here? I feel like I'm a creative person. One of the few things I enjoy in life is creating something beautiful, or emotional. I'd love to meet people with that same passion. Where are they? Will I have to leave town?
